Colten Carrier

Beginning his quarter midget racing career at the age of 10, Michigan native, Colten Carrier fully embraced the sport and quickly became a force on the track. In 2023 he had a breakout rookie season, capturing Waterford, Michigan’s MMRA track speed record for Blue Rookies and taking home the 2023 MMRA Male Rookie of the Year Award. The following year, he full throttled his way into the 2024 season, winning the MMRA’s Male Driver of the Year and The Most Improved Driver awards. That year, in the MMRA Championship Series he placed 2nd in the Senior Honda car and 4th in the Senior Animal car.

Colten has added a third car to the CJC Racing stable for the 2025 season. He now competes in three classes, Heavy Honda, Unrestricted Animal and Heavy World Formula. This season he plans to travel to multiple tracks throughout Michigan, Ohio and Indiana competing in regional track races, the Quad City series and the Midwest Thunder series. He will spend the winter months honing his skills at indoor tracks around the Midwest such as the Buckeye Indoor Winternationals at BQMRA.

Off the track, Colten is an honor roll student and competes on his school’s track team. He also enjoys spending time in the outdoors, camping and riding his bike as well as caring for his family’s two dogs, Pam and Luke, and helping his neighbors whenever he can.
